HONOLULU - The State Department of Taxation is warning Hawai'i taxpayers of a new
e-mail scam. Taxpayers are being sent a fraudulent e-mail that claims to be from the
State of Hawai'i Department of Taxation informing them they are due a tax refund.

HONOLULU - To save money and reduce the use of paper, the State Tax Department will stop automatically mailing Income Tax Booklets (for example, N-11), Business Tax Booklets (for example, General Excise) or Estimated Payment Vouchers to taxpayers' homes or businesses.
